Guilty Pleasures

Guilty pleasures - I'm supposed to have picked one of these to have given up for Lent - oops.  I'm always behind on things like that . . . ah well, there's always tomorrow!  i'm not sure how I'll manage without even one of them.  I tried giving up naps at the start of the year, but being a night shifter + mom = must nap when kids do.   I haven't made hardly anything more than few things too many hand-sewn items for myself (note: I define how many is too many).  And I love my blogs - you all know what I mean - those people get my creative juices flowing, make me laugh and cry, and generally improve my life!  I have given up chocolate in the past, and boy was it hard.  Combined with my lack of sleep and current work schedule, nixing chocolate might result in homicidal tendencies.  That only leaves a good book - which to be fair, is one of my extremely rare guilty pleasures.  So, I can't in all fairness choose that as a sacrifice - that's like saying, "I won't eat filet mignon during Lent."  What to do...hmmm, I'm sure I will find something!  Any suggestions?
And, I promise to deliver on the previewed burlap rosette project.  It's . . . almost . . . done.

  1. Sheesh, that's a tough one! I have no answers but I'll be excited to see what you decide :-)

  2. All those things minus the chocolate as I don't eat it anyways, seem impossible to give up. Without reading I'd loose touch with the world. I do like making things for myself and naps are a must when you wake up at 4 to get ready for work.

  3. My husband tried to give up coffee for Lent, but it didn't work out so well :) Love your burlap project. I think it turned out so cute.

I read all your comments - and I'll respond if you aren't a no-reply blogger!
