You Win Some, You Lose Some

What an amazing month!  I set some goals (in addition to my NYRs) for my Homemade brand  back at the beginning of the month - here's a quick recap:


My Shop - I'd like to keep my inventory at ~50+ items - GOAL MET
My Blog - My dream is to reach 100 followers by the end of January - GOAL MET
Facebook - It would be amazing to reach 100 likes on Facebook by the end of January, too - Only made it 1/2 way there - still pretty sweet!
Pinterest - 100 followers on Pinterest by the end of January - GOAL MET

In other homemade news, I did not get my gallery wall done - it currently looks like this:

What?  You didn't know I liked the fusion of princesses and Transformers in my home decor?  Along with many of the accents being hung at a 4-year-olds eye level, the themes probably gave it away - this is the birthday celebration flim flam.  It is all I managed to get hung on my gallery wall by the end of January . . . oops!  But, I did get my Valentine's mantel done, and it looks significantly more my style.

 I really wanted to paint the mirror frame, but instead of not finishing the mantel waiting on that one little part, I decided to leave it as is and forge ahead.  I like how the rest turned out - many of the items are finds from my new favorite antique shop, and some are projects I've already featured here.

 I'll show you how I made this sweet and easy key frames - thank you thrift store!  They are my favorite part of the mantel, I think!
